We are still exploring Morey Bernstein’s exploration of Bridey Murphy and her lives.

In the last blog Bridey had died and realized she could see her funeral and burial. She tried to talk to her husband Brian, but he couldn’t hear her. Father John was an important person in their lives. She saw him visit Brian even after she died. Finally, after Father John died, she eventually went to a different place on the other side. She was very frustrated that the humans she tried to talk to (especially Brian) didn’t hear her.

Morey Bernstein discusses how Sam and Mary Macintosh came over to hear one of Morey’s tapes. He chose the latest tape he had which was with Bridey Murphy. Sam got very interested and told Morey about the papers he wrote years ago about the fascinating characteristics around child prodigies. He never understood how such young children came in to this life able to do extraordinary things. He also convinced Morey to write a book on his experiences around Bridey Murphy.

The next time Morey regressed Ruth Simmons, Bridey started talking about the astral world and how she could just think about a place like Belfast or Cork and be there. Sam, who worked with Morey, went with him when they had to go to New York City for a work situation. Sam went to the New York Library and found all the plans and newspapers Bridey Murphy had talked about in their sessions. There were also many details and synchronicities that fell into place later on that trip.

Morey did 2 more sessions with Ruth Simmons which we will discuss in the next blog. Also, I will give you a full transcript of an interview of Paola Harris and Dr. Polly Palmer’s conversation with me and their interactions with people involved with Bridey Murphy.

As we discovered in the other blogs Morey Bernstein stumbled across past lives and reincarnation quite by accident. In this blog we will go through the rest of the regression that Ruth Simmons experienced.

Bridey was named after her grandmother Bridget. Her mother was called Kathleen and she had black hair. Her father was tall and had red hair. His name was Duncan Murphy. Bridey also had red hair. They lived in Cork, Ireland in the early 1800s. The family lived outside the village. Then Morey got Bridey to move forward to fifteen years old. She went to Stragne’s Day School and stayed there all week long. She was studying to be a lady. She learned how to do proper things around the house.

Bridey married Brian McCarthy. Brian’s father was a barrister, like her father. Brian went to school in Belfast. Bridey and Brian got married and moved from Cork to Belfast. They had no children. They lived in a cottage behind Brian’s grandmother’s house while he went to school.

Brian was Catholic and Bridey was Protestant, but the church Bridey went to with her family as a child was a non-sectarian small church.

She also told Morey a prayer they always would say before dinner as a child, “Bless this house in all weather. Keep it gay in springy heather. Bless the children, Bless the food. Keep us happy, bright and good.” Then Morey regressed Ruth again to another life before this lifetime. After a few quiet minutes she found herself in New Amsterdam as a baby and she was dying. Her parents were Vera and John Jamison.

She got very tired, so Morey took her back to her life in Ireland. She went to her death in that life. She fell down some stairs and was very hurt. Her husband tried to heal her, but she died soon after at sixty-six.

As we discussed in the previous blog, Morey Bernstein stumbled across past lives and reincarnation quite by accident. As a young man, he was at a party, and someone brought up hypnotism, and everyone laughed. So, he said he would show the disbelieving crowd that hypnotism did work. A young woman named Ruth volunteered. Much to Morey’s surprise, while under hypnosis, she went back to Cork, Ireland, in the 1800s. Her name was Bridey Murphy.

Over the years, Morey kept bumping into the concept of reincarnation and past lives, and it annoyed him more than anything else. Eventually, he and his wife went on a trip that included Edgar Cayce’s work and then to New York City, where he was stunned by all the books on reincarnation, even in the New York Library. He was also shocked by all the famous people who believed in past lives, including Ben Franklin and many more.

After that trip, Morey decided to refine his hypnotism techniques and sessions. He then decided to put Ruth, who married his friend Rex Simmons, through a regression on November 29, 1952. He had regressed her 2x before and was ready to see if she could go back before she was born into this life.

Here is what he discovered, with his wife and Ruth’s husband as witnesses to this regression. They went to her life in Cork, Ireland. She was four years ago. She then went to eight years old. She knew her mother’s name was Kathleen. Her father’s name was Duncan. Her name was Bridey Murphy, and the year was 1806. Her father was a barrister; he was tall and had red hair. Bridey also had bright red hair. This surprised all of them because Ruth had brown hair and didn’t know what a barrister was. The regression went on with many very interesting details. She then went through her death and another rebirth in New Amsterdam, which was New York in the colonies in the United States.
